You are not body or mind, You are Pure Consciousness : Way for Perfect Happiness

We give too much importance to body and mind and that is the reason for all of our problems too. It is not our fault that we have been hypnotized in that way from our childhood. Our education is in such a way that it forces us to believe that only science is true. Of course science is good and helped us a lot in improving our lifestyle over the centuries. But compared to the universe, science is still in early stages and still cannot define most of the happenings in this universe and our body. Even science still doesn’t have any explanations for many activities happening in our body or in the universe. So there are many things which are outside science’s knowledge. So it is a big mistake to say everything else outside science is wrong.

Scientists always try to learn about external things only. That is the main problem with science. But far bigger knowledge lies inside us. For centuries mystics in India used deep meditation to gain that knowledge and they passed that knowledge to their disciples. This knowledge is now available in the form of ancient texts like Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita etc.

All these books primarily say one thing that you are not body or mind. You are far above these body-mind complex. You are self or Atman. You are part of the divine energy which is controlling and driving this huge universe. So don’t limit yourself to this simple body or mind. Body and mind are only instruments to play in the physical world. A much bigger world exists inside and we don’t realize it or even hesitate to look at it because we have been deeply hypnotized by modern education that anything else other than science says are false.

So if you really want to increase your happiness, peace of mind etc you should consider changing your way of thinking. In body and mind level you cannot get perfection. It will always disturb you one way or another. One day your body will be perfectly alright, the next day will be full of problems and so on. Mind also we don’t have much control. It drags you to unnecessary problems every day. So the only solution to all of these problems is to ignore the body and mind. 

Problem is we think we are body and mind. We are super identified with them. If we leave that perception we will be much more comfortable. Body raised from this earth and is earth’s property. We don’t have much control over it. It is like a tree in our neighborhood. We really don’t know what is happening inside. Some power is taking care of it and we are just carrying on with it.

Similar case with mind too. Our senses bring data from outside and mind stores all those data without much cross checking. When important moments the mind makes decisions from these data which is not always true or mostly outdated. Whatever happens with you, your beliefs, habits, additions, perceptions, decisions etc come from these outdated or obsolete data. Most important thing is that most of this subconscious data was created during our childhood period. That is why most of our decisions are most of the time inaccurate. This is the reason why different people react differently to the same situation.

So in both body and mind level you cannot get perfection. It is not in our control. So the best thing is leave them and let it work as per their wish because you cannot control. Instead of that move to a higher level and be with the person who is controlling all these. Consciousness, who is supposed to be the master is sitting idle there and its accessories like mind and body are in charge now. That is the real reason for all our problems. Be self aware. Reduce thoughts and body consciousness, then slowly your SELF will illuminate. Do some kind of meditation everyday. Gain knowledge about self through books or videos. With consistent efforts you can bring SELF to the mainstream and that gradually calms down body and mind. You will get perfect happiness which is far far bigger than the happiness you get in the outside world.
