Covid-19 Novel Corona virus is a new one so none of us are immune to it and our immune system doesn’t have any idea about how to fight against it. That is why it is spreading so fast all over the world. As of today more than 1.4 million people are infected and the numbers are increasing exponentially.

What we should do to prevent it

Of course the first thing is obey the authorities and follow their rules like stay at home whenever possible, social distancing, washing hands for 20 seconds often etc because there is no vaccine or medicine to prevent or treat this pandemic. So best option to do your best to prevent it.

Importance of Mental Health

When we deal with situation like this it is extremely important to keep a good mental health. If we are stressed or mind filled with negative emotions like fear, grief, tension, anxiety etc first thing our body does is suppress the immune system. Body cannot do multiple things simultaneously. When we are stressed body’s first priority is to come out of it at the earliest. So it stops or reduce unrelated things like healing, regeneration etc. So when you are stressed your healing power and immune system functions will be deeply compromised.

Stop Negative News to Stay Positive

First thing to stay positive is feed only positive thins to your brain. Five senses are brain’s input – in that mainly what you see and hear. So whatever you see and hear should be positive things. Switch of TV new channels and watch relaxing moving or comedy shows. Listen to relaxing music or good and inspiring speeches. Always Remember your state of mind for next few days depends on what you see and hear today. If you give bad inputs output also will be same. Brain doesn’t take any decision its own – it purely depends on the input it receive. So be very selective.
